The Senate Standing Committee on Health in a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer, National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), the Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC), the Chairperson, Rural Private Hospitals Association (RUPHA), the Chairperson, Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) and the Chairperson, Kenya Association of Private Hospitals to deliberate on following Statements –
a). The Statement sought by Sen. James Wakoli, MP, regarding health care services to beneficiaries of NHIF.
b). The Statement sought by Sen. Okong’o Omogeni, SC, MP, regarding the acute shortage of antituberculosis drugs countrywide.
