Sen Esther Okenyuri joined the Catholic Women Association Annual Diocese Mass presided over by his Lordship Rt Rev Joseph Mairura, Bishop of Kisii Diocese at the Cardinal Otunga, Mosocho Grounds.
Members from all the 36 parishes drawn from Kisii and Nyamira Counties were represented by delegates. The annual event was put together for Mama Mkatoliki to pray and thank God as they close the year.
The church is not just a spiritual custodian but a socio-economic pillar of the society, it teaches, treats, mentors, empowers and transforms the entire community.
Sen Okenyuri supported the women and the church. She further pledged to continue seeking guidance from the clergy as she serves in the Senate
